Apple Sustainability Chief and SEEC Institute Board Member Lisa P. Jackson Retires
SEEC Institute congratulates Lisa Jackson on a remarkable career and thanks her for her service to our Board of Directors.
From ESG Today: “Apple announced that its Vice President for Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, will retire in late January 2026. Jackson joined the company in 2013, after serving as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), appointed by President Barack Obama. At Apple, she has been responsible for overseeing the company’s efforts to minimize its impact on the environment by addressing climate change, through initiatives focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, using greener materials, and resource preservation, in addition to leading Apple’s $100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative, focused on education, economic opportunity, and criminal justice reform. Jackson is also responsible for Apple’s education policy programs, its product accessibility work, and its worldwide government affairs function.”
